Gregory P. Bierl, Esq. - M.B.A.

Greg was born in Toledo, OH and grew up in Hillsdale, MI. Following high school, Greg attended Michigan State University where he focused his studies on general business administration / pre-law and was able to earn a merit scholarship to attend the University of Toledo College of Law. While studying law at U.T., Greg concurrently pursued his Masters in Business Administration and earned both degrees in December of 2005. Greg sat for the Michigan bar exam in February, 2006 and accepted a job at a private civil law practice in Grand Haven, Michigan immediately after obtaining favorable bar exam results. During the next two years, Greg built a strong foundation practicing in the areas of property law, contract law, landlord-tenant law and secured transactions, among others. Greg left the private practice to help form Zermatt Enerprises, LLC (and related entities) in March of 2008 and currently serves as in-house counsel for the same. In his spare time, Greg is passionate about outdoor activities including hunting and fishing and is a dedicated and active member of conservation organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited and Anglers of the Au Sable. Greg also enjoys playing golf, skiing, musical instruments and music composition.

Melannie Englert, Legal Assistant

 

Melannie Englert is a west Michigan native, as she is a lifelong resident of Grand Haven, Michigan.  Melannie graduated from Muskegon Community College in 1992 with an Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences focused on legal assisting. Prior to joining Greg's practice, Melannie enjoyed a successful 16-year career as a legal assistant for civil law attorneys in Grand Haven, specializing in real estate, landlord-tenant, civil litigation, collections and estate planning. Melannie has extensive experience in all paralegal activities and is intimately familiar with the Michigan court systems.  Melannie resides in Grand Haven with her husband and son. In her spare time, Melannie enjoys camping, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
